Whenever a customer makes a cover, we always ask one more question, whether the corners around need to be right angles or rounded corners.

One point: The method is different. The right angle is realized by a V-groove machine, which is basically 90 degrees. When folded, it is square. It is directly die-cut to obtain rounded corners, and then the reverse side can be folded in.
Two points: their prices are different. For packaging manufacturers, right angles require two processes to complete, while rounded corners require one process to achieve. So the price of rounded corners is equivalent to a little cheaper. Of course, some heaven and earth covers are not suitable for right angles.
Generally, gift boxes with a height of less than 30mm are not suitable for right angles, but gift box processing plants also have solutions, which will not be described in detail here. According to the experience of gift box processing plants, generally right-angled packaging gift boxes look better than rounded corners, but if your budget is not enough, rounded corners are more economical.
